Premakumari alleges harassment by officials, ready for a compromise with Ramadas

Premakumari who claims to be wife of former minister S A Ramadas on Thursday said she being denied justice and being harassed by the government officials by refusing to accept his resignation of the post of a clerk in Mysuru DC office and settle the issue.

MYSURU: Premakumari who claims to be wife of former minister S A Ramadas on Thursday said she being denied justice and being harassed by the government officials by refusing to accept his resignation of the post of a clerk in Mysuru DC office and settle the issue.
At a press meet here , she said she has submitted her resignation to the post three months ago when the government failed to pay her salary for the last two years after her complaint to the police against Ramadas .

Premakumari issue rocked the district political circles when she complained to police that Ramadas has married her and refusing to look after her. She also complained that Ramadas and his brother once tried to kill her by forcing her to consume poison . On the eve of elections to parliament in last March -April she released the video tapes of sessions of interaction between him and her thus scuttling his aspirations to get a BJP ticket for Mysore lok sabha seat. Ramadas was one of the aspirants for BJP ticket from Mysore. Following this exposure Ramadas tried to commit suicide by hanging, but was saved by his associates .
She said she has approached the Mysuru DC several times, but Mysore DC has cold shouldered her demand to accept the resignation and settle the dues. " How I can lead a life without money" ? she emotionally asked suspecting the hands of various elements in this non-acceptance of the resignation.
" My dispute with Ramadas is a personal issue and as a lady I have sought justice through government, police and law court, whether this is a crime committed by me" ?she asked and said everybody in the government department looks at her with a contempt as if she has committed some grave crime or unethical act .
Though she refused to name the conspirators , Premakaumari said this government is insensitive to the women's problems and grievances . Asked about Ramadas issue she said she has all records to prove her relationship with Ramadas and CID is yet to submit its final report . " I have provided all the documents and evidence to CID and I am confident of agency getting justice to me" she said disclosing that she is ready to compromise . " I will withdraw the case if he agrees for a honourable settlement" she said extending an olive branch to Ramadas . " I am firm in my claim that she should accept me as his wife" she said.
